Cryotherapy :
Cryotherapy refers to a treatment in which surface skin lesions are frozen. Its a controlled and targeted destruction of diseased tissue by the application of low temperature. Cryogen used to freeze skin lesions is Liquid nitrogen.

Lesions that may be treated by cryotherapy include:

Actinic keratoses

Viral warts

Seborrhoeic keratoses (senile warts).

Freezing may be the most suitable way of getting rid of many different kinds of surface skin lesion. It is relatively inexpensive, safe, and reliable.
Its an out patient department procedure and can be undertaken in a clinic or minor procedure room. Patients may need single or multiple sittings at two week interval based on the skin condition.
