Stretch Marks Reduction :

Stretch marks, also called striae, happen when your skin changes shape rapidly due to growth or weight gain. Both men and women can get stretch marks. stretch marks are lines or bands caused by stretching of the skin’s connective tissue. Pregnancy and puberty are the two most common times in life to get stretch marks. If you do seek treatment for stretch marks, know that treatments are only partially effective and won't remove them completely.

The following treatments are among those available to help improve the appearance and texture of stretch marks.

  • Laser / Microneedling treatment- laser therapies are available to help stimulate the growth of collagen or elastin in your skin. Here at our clinic we use Erbium Yag laser and Endymed MNRF laser for stretch mark treatment. Your doctor can help you determine which technique is appropriate for you.

  • Microdermabrasion- This type of treatment involves a hand-held device that blows crystals onto skin. These crystals gently remove a fine layer of skin, promoting the growth of new, more-elastic skin.

  • PRP treatment- Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy has gained popularity as a way to revive skin and increase collagen production. PRP therapy uses platelet-rich plasma taken from the person’s own blood immediately before the procedure.
